Privacy Policy

Riccolo Ltd ("Riccolo", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what personal data we collect when you use riccolo.co.uk or get in touch, why we collect it, how long we keep it and who it may be shared with. Last updated 3 September 2026.

Who we are

Data controller

Riccolo Ltd (Company No. 16676658, VAT No. 500284241) is the data controller for the personal data described on this page. We install and support audio visual, security, lighting, automation and networking systems for homes and businesses across London & Kent.

What we collect

Information you give us directly

Contact & quote form

Name, email address, phone number, the service you're enquiring about and any project details you type into the message field.

Phone & email

If you call or email us directly, we hold what you tell us — your contact details and the nature of your enquiry.

Site usage

Standard technical data (such as approximate location, device and browser type, and pages visited) collected automatically via Google Analytics and Google Ads when you browse the site.

Why we collect it

How we use your information

Responding to enquiries

To reply to your contact or quote request, discuss your project and provide a quotation.

Delivering our services

To plan, schedule and carry out installation, support or after-care work you've asked us for.

Measuring our advertising

To understand which pages and adverts lead to genuine enquiries, using Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking — this does not identify you personally.

Legal & accounting

Where we need to keep records for tax, accounting or legal purposes.

Sharing & retention

Who sees it, and for how long

Web3Forms

Our contact/quote form is processed by Web3Forms, a third-party form-delivery service, which forwards your submission to Riccolo by email. We don't use it for marketing, and it isn't shared with anyone beyond Riccolo's own team.

Google

Google Analytics and Google Ads (gtag.js) set cookies and similar technologies to measure site traffic and ad performance, in line with Google's own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond, deliver any resulting work and meet our legal/accounting obligations, then deleted or anonymised. We don't sell your data or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Your rights

What you can ask us to do

Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to ask us to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email info@riccolo.co.uk. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
